I come by my love of plants and wholistic healing honestly. As a young child, I witnessed my mother heal herself from a debilitating chronic illness with the help of natural holistic approaches and yogic kriyas after doctors had given up on her. She literally saved her own life by trusting the wisdom of nature, which was no small feat at a time when there was no internet and there was so little information around about this way of healing.

As a kid, I was always in the kitchen looking for things to whip up into a hair or face mask.

My mother's experience shaped my worldview and inspired my lifelong learning and exploration of plant medicine, mindfulness practices and the bodymind.

I continue to learn every day and have studied herbalism, Ayurvedic yoga therapy, Medical Qigong, Multireflexology Dien Chan, natural skincare formulation and many other modalities.

As a kid, I was always in the kitchen looking for things to whip up into a hair or face mask. My earliest inspiration came from my grandmother, who made a facial cream with a cult following. I'd stay up late – grandma was a bit of a "night owl" – and watch as she hand-whipped the cream in a white mortar and pestle. The cream was thick and luscious and smelled like chocolate.

I feel blessed to be able to share my creations with you!

My grandmother didn't advertise or concern herself with things like product packaging or labels. She spooned the cream into little cellophane bags and that was that: Women heard about it from their friends and came from all over the city to get their own little bag of magic cream.

I dedicate my work to these two powerful women, with gratitude and love.

Nowadays, I still make the kind of potions with which I like to lavish my own face, body and hair. Drawing on the wisdom of herbs, seed oils, clays and other natural ingredients, I've formulated these offerings to nourish and support the skin to be the healthiest it can be. And, beyond that, to delight and elevate the senses, and inspire the habit of self-care ritual and greater wellbeing.

I feel blessed to be able to share my creations with you!
